In what was nothing more than an instant, nothing more than a split
second, an inconceivably small lapse of time, everything changed. News that
shocked the world, shocked the universe that such a vile and cruel race of
beings could deny innocents of their own the right to live peacefully. At war
with themselves.
It was bad. I sat, I watched through the pale, translucent layer of
icy frost that was lingering almost hauntingly upon the cold glasses; the
blackness, the dots of light that were so distant, were so overwhelming. Some
cried.

Two People Met In a ForestTwo people met in a forest, each one looking intently at the other, eyes held by magnets, or more like a string. They moved at the same time, with the same pace, in a circular motion, clockwise around a common center point, each of them keeping themselves directly across from the other. It was nearly noon. The sun shone brightly, through the foliage, its warmth departed from the scene from the elevation. The – soldiers, they looked like – stood in a clearing, a small valley with lush green grass with a glassy film of perpetual frost, surrounded by tall pine trees. To me it was like a revelation of no other, rejoicing in the death of a tyrannical leader, a murderer, a destroyer. Her actions angered many, and people died.
